6 months with sweet Honor!

So it took me about 4 months to really get settled and learn my new normal after Honor entered our world. I love this little bug with all my heart. However, I was not prepared for how overwhelmed I would feel, or how busier it would make my life. Needless to say, that is why I am oh so behind on blogging. I really want to remember these moments with her, because it passes so quickly. She'll be celebrating her first birthday before I know it! So here is my 6 month post.
Sweet Honor on her birthday! What a blessed day!!



One Week Old. In the dress my mom made for her to come home in...so beautiful!


One Month old. Honor is a good eater and a good sleeper. Almost all the pictures I have of her during this time she is sleeping-hah!


Two Months. What a sweet little gal! She has lots of smiles for her big brother! Still not sleeping through the night yet, but delighting us with her sweet personality!


Three Months-not doing too much yet, still eating, sleeping pooping and repeat. But dazzles us with that gorgeous face!



Four Months-rolled over for the first time this month! Must have lots and lots of attention. It is so funny how she knows when you are giving her your full attention and when you aren't. Babbling, cooing and giggling up a storm! She went to her first Auburn game this month!! She was a trooper :)



Five Months. Sweet girl, showing us more and more of her personality. She is ALL smiles! Started trying to sit up this month and rolling over. Tummy time is not her favorite, but we are working with her!



Happy Six Months to my most precious Honor! Look at this girl! How she has grown! She is sitting up by herself, loves to play with her toys and watch her big brother run around like a wild man! She started rice cereal and baby food this month. She hates it! I have tried just about everything and finally the other night tried making it myself and that did the trick. So it is looking like I will be making myself pretty busy making homemade baby food, which I did not do with Asher, but I am certainly willing to try whatever it takes to get her to start eating solids.Guess we've got a high maintenance little lady on our hands :) She is in the 50th percentile for her weight and 60th for her height. We went to the doctor last week and she is a picture of health. Sorry for the lengthy post. Hopefully I will have more free time to update regularly and not have to do 6 months worth of blogging on one post :)

Happy Birthday Asher!

My boy is two!!--TWO! We had a big birthday celebration last Saturday and had TONS of fun and I of course took way too many pictures. We had a very special day celebrating with sweet friends and family. I chose a rock and roll theme party because Asher is crazy about music. He always talks about drums and how Daddy plays the guitar and sings ALL the time. He is too funny. He will literally tell everyone who will listen that his Daddy plays the guitar. It is sweet. Anyways back to the party: Here are some highlights that I want to remember: We had an incredible cake made by the one and only Carol Watts. My parents rented a blow up elephant slide that the kids LOVED. It was worth every penny spent because it provided SO much entertainment. Asher was so excited to see all of his friends. He is the sweetest little boy and oh so social. We had these inflatable microphones that he would carry around and sing into. He got two really big presents: A bike from his Mimi and Papa (aka Zack's parents) and a drum set from his Nonnie and Pops (my parents). he was thrilled about both of the presents. We saved the drumset as a surprise at the end of the party because we knew that would be all he would want to do would be to play drums--and he did. He played and played. He was such a ham. He actually has some rhythm too. He would play a little beat and them end with hitting the cymbals, freeze and smile, making sure everyone was watching. The rest of the night after the party it was: "Mommy watch Ashey play drums in Ashey's room" . He definitely woke us up at 530 the next morning with "Asher play drums" followed by lots of loud noise. He had a very fun and very special day. He is one very loved little boy. Here are some pictures from the day--they should be in order of the party happenings.
