Asher's room

Only 26 days until my due date! It is hard to believe that it is almost time for Asher to be here! I have an appointment on Friday and we should have a better idea of exactly when our little boy might be making his way into the world. I have loved every minute of my pregnancy and I have been so lucky to have had such an easy time so far. As much as I have enjoyed this part, I am even more ready to hold my sweet baby in my arms! Zack and I (mainly Zack) have been working on Asher's room and it is just about finished. There are only a few finishing touches and organizational things that need to be done. Here are a few pictures of the room.

Zack putting together the bed....it took him all of about 5 minutes. I am so lucky I married such a handy man!

Here is Asher's little bed. Zack painted the design from his bedding in random spots on the wall---it is so cute. I have more pictures that I'll post later. It was taking forever for them to load, but I'll add more later.

Daphne

For those of you who don't know, Daphne is our dog. She has been our baby for three years this month!  It is hard to believe we have had her for that long! Zack and I aren't sure how she is going to react to having a baby in the house and having to share our attention.  The few times she has been around babies and toddlers she acts completely terrified.  It's pretty funny actually.  Whenever she gets scared, she hides under the coffee table.  This may become her home away from home once Asher arrives---we'll let you know how she adjusts.

Blogging...

Hello everyone...(anyone?)  We are starting this blog for after the baby comes so that out of town family and friends can keep in touch and stay updated on our baby boy.  We are expecting Asher James to arrive sometime around October 27th.  Mom and I think that he is going to be a November baby (I am betting on election day--haha), but we'll see when he decides to make his grand arrival.   So far I have had a wonderful pregnancy. I have felt great so far and have had lots of energy!--which Zack is thankful for--(he hasn't had to pamper me too much :)) Monday will start my 33rd week of pregnancy--only 7 short weeks left! We can't wait to meet our precious little boy!
