We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving!!We stayed home in Jacksonville this year for the first time in maybe my entire life haha. Zack and I were talking and this is the first year we have not gone to my grandparents house for Thanksgiving in the 10 years that we have been together. It was nice to be able to have a few days to relax around our house and visit with sweet family. Just because we were home, doesn't mean we weren't busy though :) It was Honor's first Thanksgiving!! On Thursday morning, we had breakfast with my immediate family and then headed on over to the Casey's house for their BIG family lunch. With the exception of one grandkid, I think the entire Casey clan was able to come together and share a meal. It was wild with all the kids running around, but so fun. Asher loves playing with other kids so he really enjoyed it! On Friday we took a ride on the Polar Express! Our sweet Pops (Shan) bought us tickets in the special Santa car. Asher LOVED it! I was a little worried about how he would react to Santa because he did NOT like him last year, but he loved it and got SO excited to see Santa! Then on Saturday, my mom's family came in to town and we had another yummy meal. Lots of food, lots of family and lots of FUN! I love Thanksgiving, especially the sweet time with family. I am so thankful that God has blessed Zack and I with an incredibly supportive family. I don't know what I would do without them! While we were having breakfast with my family we talked about all that we are thankful for, I wanted to hear unique things they were thankful for: Zack was thankful for his high metabolism, Shan was thankful for his patients that keep him busy, to which Mom added that she was thankful for herpes....(just a little taste of what goes on at our dinner table sometimes--haha), I am thankful for THEM! I think so often I get busy and take my family for granted, but I am SO thankful to have amazing parents, parents-in-laws, grandparents and the absolute best set of sisters and brothers anyone could ask for! Here are a few pictures from our Thanksgiving on Saturday. I'll post the pictures of the separate days in separate posts
