Happy Birthday Asher!
My boy is two!!--TWO! We had a big birthday celebration last Saturday and had TONS of fun and I of course took way too many pictures. We had a very special day celebrating with sweet friends and family. I chose a rock and roll theme party because Asher is crazy about music. He always talks about drums and how Daddy plays the guitar and sings ALL the time. He is too funny. He will literally tell everyone who will listen that his Daddy plays the guitar. It is sweet. Anyways back to the party: Here are some highlights that I want to remember: We had an incredible cake made by the one and only Carol Watts. My parents rented a blow up elephant slide that the kids LOVED. It was worth every penny spent because it provided SO much entertainment. Asher was so excited to see all of his friends. He is the sweetest little boy and oh so social. We had these inflatable microphones that he would carry around and sing into. He got two really big presents: A bike from his Mimi and Papa (aka Zack's parents) and a drum set from his Nonnie and Pops (my parents). he was thrilled about both of the presents. We saved the drumset as a surprise at the end of the party because we knew that would be all he would want to do would be to play drums--and he did. He played and played. He was such a ham. He actually has some rhythm too. He would play a little beat and them end with hitting the cymbals, freeze and smile, making sure everyone was watching. The rest of the night after the party it was: "Mommy watch Ashey play drums in Ashey's room" . He definitely woke us up at 530 the next morning with "Asher play drums" followed by lots of loud noise. He had a very fun and very special day. He is one very loved little boy. Here are some pictures from the day--they should be in order of the party happenings. I will make two year post soon with his stats and fun things I want to remember.

Fall Festival
Every year our church holds a Fall Festival. It is always amazing. I could not wait for Asher to go this year, because I knew he would have so much fun playing on the bouncy slides and playing games. Everyone dresses up, there are hot dogs, hay rides and loads of candy. Asher was dressed as Mickey Mouse and Honor was a sweet little lady bug. My good friend Shelli made Honor's onesie and I made her little tutu. We had a FUN night!

Sweet Honor-bug :)

Happy Halloween!
October is one of my FAVORITE months. Fall is actually my favorite time of the year. The beautiful leaves start changing, the weather gets cooler, Zack turns another year older :) and HALLOWEEN happens! Yesterday we spent the whole day at home. It was so fun spending time together just hanging out at the house, playing outside. We even carved a pumpkin to set on our porch for Halloween. We thought Asher would love playing with all the messy inside stuff from the pumpkin, but he didn't want to have anything to do with it. He wouldn't even stick his hand inside the pumpkin at all. He watched somewhat disinterestedly for a while....
.....and finally escaped to do what he really wanted to do....

The Finished Product!

We waited for trick or treaters, but no one came, we live in a neighborhood with a lot of older people haha, SO we ended the night making yummy s'mores. Asher did not like the fire too much, but he enjoyed eating the chocolate and gooey marshmallows and had fun singing the S'mores song from his favorite toddler CD :)

Sweet Honor, enjoying the warm fire

Happy Halloween everyone!!
