Asher's First Wedding!

He mainly wanted to eat his tie

Two of our friends from high school got married this weekend and we decided to dress our little man up and let him tag along.  I was a little worried about taking him and kept going back and forth about whether we would or not because you never know when he is going to decide to start "talking". We didn't want him stealing the show or let out a big squeal during the vows-but we decided to take the risk and sit in the back where we could rush out if we needed to.  (Plus- he looked too cute not to take and show off ) And as it turns out, I worried for nothing. He slept through the entire ceremony.  He was an angel! On a side note, it was so neat to see our friends get married. They started dating a few months after Zack and I started dating in high school and we all went to my senior prom together!  Good ole times! :) Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Flying Baby

The Gap and the Patch

Asher's baby hair fell out and left a gap that runs a line across the back of his head, but there is a patch of hair that is so long and thick at the bottom! Just wanted to show you!

(new post below)

The Office

I take Asher to work with me. At work he has 6 other "mothers" that love to hold and play with him! We all take turns keeping him entertained. Needless to say, he is a little spoiled. I think he is going to have a preference for women. As soon as he is old enough--we're going to make him follow Zack around everywhere--haha!   The other day I took my camera to work and got a few pictures I thought I would share.
Baby in the workplace!
Asher and his other mothers--you can tell who the boss is here!

Four Month Well Visit

We had our four month old well baby visit today.  When we walked in to sign in, the receptionist asked me how we had been able to keep Asher away from the doctor's office. She seemed amazed that he hasn't been sick yet!  We are so grateful that we have a healthy boy and we haven't had to make any extra visits to the doctor!  Asher is 14 pounds 15 ounces and 25 inches long!  He had another round of shots. He tolerated them pretty well. He only cried with the last one and it didn't last long. We came home and took a long nap after that! He has been a little fussy at times today, but is still his perky self for the most part, babbling and playing. (We're keeping him loaded up with Tylenol)  Dr Ebba said he is right on track developmentally. The doctor also said he was ready for rice cereal--I'm just not sure if I am.  He has only been nursed so far and it makes me a little sad to start rice cereal, but I'm also excited about how healthy he is and how much he is growing!   So we'll let you know how the adventure of solid foods starts out!

Four Months

Asher was four months old last Tuesday! I was looking through some pictures from when we first brought him home from the hospital and thought you all might enjoy seeing how much he has changed. Who knew when we first welcomed him into the world, he would bring such joy to our days!  Happy four months ! We love you buddy!
By the way, we go for our four month check up on Friday--not looking forward to more shots, but I am anxious to see how much weight he has gained. He is such a little chunk now! We had him in a short sleeved shirt today and he has the sweetest little fat rolls on his arms!! And more exciting news for me- he slept through the night last night!! He went to bed at 830 and woke up to eat at 1130 and then slept until 630am-yea!! We'll see if he keeps it up.

First Snow!

We got a "light dusting" of snow on Sunday. Even though it wasn't much, it still counts as Asher's first snow!!  So of course we had to take pictures!! He was ready for his nap and wasn't really that interested in the snow, but we kept him awake so we could take pictures after church.

"Enough already"
